SRQ Resources Inc. (TSXV: SRQ) is a Canadian base metals company exploring for nickel, copper, and platinum in the province of Québec. The Company is preparing to drill its 100%-owned Lac Brulé property located at a five-hour driving distance from Montréal.
In May 2021, SRQ discovered a mineralized magmatic intrusion (“surface gossan”) in a remote location approximately 15 km west of Lac Brulé in the northern Laurentian region in Québec. Exploration work, including geological mapping and geophysical surveys (airborne and ground EM), confirmed the presence of strong conductors at depth, most likely associated with the magmatic intrusion.
The maiden 2023 drill program is informed by an airborne HELITHEM II survey, which defined large-scale deformation patterns with intense isolated gravity highs together with strong conductive zones, a favorable geological setting for base metals.
