Marc-Antoine is an experienced mining executive and senior geologist with 37 years of international mineral exploration experience in project management, discovery, evaluation, resource estimation, mine development, design and implementation of exploration programs. Marc-Antoine acquired his expertise in base metals, international nickel sulphide and laterite exploration and development through senior-level positions at major mining companies such as Xstrata Nickel and Falconbridge. The founder of three exploration companies including TSXV-listed Sama Resources, SRG Mining and SRQ, he has extensive geological expertise in West Africa, Latin America and in New Caledonia.
Dr. Audet earned his Ph. D in geology / earth science from University of Québec in Montréal (UQAM) and University of New Caledonia (U.NC).
Jean-Daniel is a seasoned financial executive who brings to SRQ over ten years of managerial experience in senior-level finance positions. Prior to joining, he was corporate controller at SRG Mining and previous to that, Vice-President, Finance Shared Services at BNP Paribas, the second-largest banking group in Europe. He also served as head of FP&A for Averna Technologies Inc., where he was in charge of internal reporting and global budgeting, as well as a total of six years at Société Générale Bank and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Joly holds a specialized graduate diploma in accounting sciences from ESG-UQAM and is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec.
Elias brings with him over 15 years of legal experience, mostly advising West-African-focused companies in the mining and energy sectors such as SRG Mining, Sama Resources, Windiga Energy and SEMAFO. Currently, Elias serves as Vice-President, Legal & Corporate Secretary of Aya Gold & Silver.
Mr. Elias holds a civil law degree (summa cum laude) and a common law degree (cum laude) from the University of Ottawa and is a recipient of the Canada SSHRC Graduate Scholarship. He articled with Hon. Judge Otis of the Quebec Court of Appeal and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2007.
Former Grand Chief of Kanesatake Mohawk Nation, Jerry is a senior advocate with extensive lobbying, policy and mediation experience spanning Indigenous people, Indigenous governments, corporate Canada, and federal-provincial governments.
Currently, Jerry acts as consultant for the Kanesatake Mohawk Community. Previously, he served as Senior Advisor, Indigenous Relations and Partnerships at Norda Stelo Inc and as Vice President of Government and Indigenous Relations at Acosys Consulting Services. Between 2005 and 2013, he was National Advisor for the Congress of Aboriginal People in Ottawa, and Director, Strategic Partnerships for the Congress of Aboriginal People, administering 5-year, $10-million Aboriginal Human Resources Development Agreements. Mr. Peltier holds a diploma in business administration from Cambrian College.
